2001- New Delhi SAHMAT- The Saffron Agenda in Education

With the first steps towards imposing a supremacist, communal and narrow vision of History and Culture taking place under the NDA I government under prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, SAHMAT and Communalism Combat together organised a three day Convention on the Communalisationof Education in New Delhi, in August 2001. This Booklet was prepared for the occasion. It was a unqiue convention coming as it did, six months before the Gujarat 2002 genocidal carnage contains papers by Nalini Taneja, Suraj Bhan, Ram Punyani and Teesta Setalvad.
