Hate Offender Ragini Tiwari is back in action!

Ragini Tiwari is seen raising Islamophobic slogans yet again outside Pawan Hans premises

Sabrangindia 17 Apr 2022

Ragini Tiwar

Self-proclaimed Hindutva leader, Ragini Tiwari alias Janki Behen, is seen in a viral video on twitter, protesting outside Pawan Hans Office premises in connection with the controversy that surfaced online over ‘only Muslim’ recruitment at Mini-Ratna Pawan Hans helicopter service.

In the viral video, Ragini Tiwari can be seen raising slogans such as “Naukri jihad band karo” (stop jihad in jobs)….. “Hindustan mai man maani nahi chalegi”(This will not work in Hindustan)! along with her supporters. In the said video she asks “Saari naukriya musalmano ko kyu? Hindu kaha jaenge? (Why jobs for Muslims alone?)”, adding to this she also claims, “Paisa Shri Ram ka aur faayda ‘chuslam’ ko? (The money belongs to Shri Ram and why profit to the other?)” She continues to heckle and call out the authorities of Miniratna Pawan Hans Ltd.

The said video can be viewed her:

The portal OpIndia, with brazenly political and Hindutva links published a list of new graduate apprentices to join the organization, Pawan Hans limited, when ostensibly, and all of them were from one religion. The issue is who and how OpIndia accessed this. Thereafter, messages started circulating on social media that new apprentices joining Pawan Hans are all ‘Muslims’, with no representation of any other religion. Pawan Hans Limited is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

Previously, in a Facebook live broadcast on February 23, 2020, amidst the Delhi violence, she was seen using derogatory language including cuss-words against the Delhi police for their alleged inaction against stone-pelters. In the 23-minute-long video she said, “Yes, for my country and religion, I cleaned out Jafrabad, and I don’t regret it. If I stay alive, then I vow that every time Shaheen Bagh and Jaffrabad [situations] are created, I will clean them out again, in my style.”

Then again in December 2020 she was seen in another viral Facebook video appealing to the masses to prepare themselves for December 17 to recreate Jafrabad if the farmers don’t stop protesting and leave Delhi. She openly issued a fresh warning to the Central and Delhi Government that if the protests were not put to an end by December 16, she would take to the streets and get all roads cleared and history would repeat itself. By history, she meant the targeted Delhi Pogrom where she brazenly called for the slaughter of the Muslim community and the violence that followed which led to deaths of more than 50 people.

After a considerable delay, the Delhi Police had registered an FIR against her under Indian Penal Code Section 153 (provocation to any person intending or knowing it to be likely that such provocation will cause the offence of rioting to be committed), days after the said video went viral on social media. However, as reported by Indian Express, when the Police went to her house, they found that she was out of town. Tall claims were made by senior officer stating that she will be summoned and that they would probe her alleged role in the Northeast Delhi riots but here she is scot-free picking up every chance she gets to spew hate against the Muslim minority. There is no progress in the case however.

SabrangIndia had also flagged Ragini Tiwari’s venomous content against the farmers where she said that she is not “Gandhi’s monkey”, to turn a blind eye towards the protests and ordered the Government to take charge of the situation asking the farmers to clear the roads.

Citizens for Peace and Justice (CJP) had also complained to Facebook regarding the two incriminating videos posted on their site in 2020 but the company refused to take any action against Tiwari. They stated that they were not in a position to take any action against her and suggested that CJP contact the party directly to get a resolution on the issue.
