No media channel questioned the government about the death of 13 soldiers in the AN-32 crash recently. Retired army officer Mohammad Sanaullah was termed as a foreigner and was sent to a detention camp. Six soldiers died when a MI-17 crashed in February this year, it was found later that it was shot down in friendly fire and the Indian Air Force was asked by the government not to reveal this fact till after the general elections were over.
